Description

The best and quickest recipe made from items in your cupboard.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound of pasta (short noodle, fusilli, penne, rigatoni)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 jar of Rao’s Arrabbiata Sauce

1/2 red onion, finely diced

4 pork, chicken or turkey sausage, preferable uncooked, taken out of casing

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Parmesan for finishing

Instructions

Fill a large deep pan with water and bring to a boil. Add 2 teaspoons of salt when boiling.

When water is boiling, add pasta and cook until al dente (still slightly firm).

Heat up a large saucepan, add olive oil, then add onion. Sauté until translucent (4-5 minutes)

Take sausages out of their casing and crumble into the pan with onion. Stir and break up sausage until cooked through.

Pour jar of sauce over the sausage mixture, add oregano and whatever greens you are using.

Cook for another 5-10 minutes covered over low heat then pour pasta into sauce, mix and top with shredded Parmesan.
